Software Engineer
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced full stack Software Engineer with strong front-end skills to join our dynamic development team. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using Vue.js, PHP, and Laravel. You will partner with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, develop high-quality and efficient code, and contribute to the overall success of our software products.

Responsibilities:
- Develop efficient, scalable, and secure software solutions using Vue.js, PHP, and Laravel.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Partner with our product team, designers, and other stakeholders to turn product requirements into working solutions.
- Test and debug your solutions to ensure the stability and quality of our production software.
- Participate in code reviews and make suggestions to improve our codebase.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and invest time in your personal growth to continuously improve your technical skills and contribute innovative solutions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a front-end developer with a strong focus on Vue.js or equivalent JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React).
- Familiarity with PHP or equivalent back-end technologies.
- Proven experience working with RESTful APIs.
- Strong knowledge of web development concepts, responsive design, an web accessibility.
- Experience with version control (Git).
- Knowledge of software testing principles and experience with Cypress end-to-end testing framework.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in database design and SQL, with experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
- Experience designing and building scalable customer facing applications.
- The ideal candidate will be local to NE Ohio or Central Ohio though we may consider remote candidates for this position.
